Juliet has always been passionate about stuffed animal and fictional character rights. In middle school, she organized her first walk-out to protest the portrayal of Cruella de Ville’s cartoon puppy coat in 101 Dalmations. She has worked in the non-profit sector for her entire career.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Stuffed Animals (PETSA) is the largest stuffed animal rights organization in the world. PETSA opposes the live-animal and human-centric worldview that dominates today’s culture. PETSA works to end stuffed animal suffering, whether from neglect, overcrowded conditions, unfair labor practices, the fashion industry, or general disrespect and exploitation. PETSA works through public eduction, investigative journalism, research, lobbying, organizational monitoring, and protest campaigns. Our most famous campaign, “I only wear FAKE fake fur!” enlisted celebrities and influencers to bring global awareness to our cause.
