Notifications Have Been Sent!

pile of applications

Thank you so much to everyone who applied to adopt this go-round. We have sent out all of our approval and denial notifications. If you applied and did not receive one or the other, a few things might have happened:

  • If you applied with a paper form at a petting zoo, we might not have been able to read your email address, or it may have been missing or incorrect. We always have several returned emails and have no other way to contact folks
  • We are still waiting to hear back from the approved adopter regarding acceptance. It is possible that you are an alternate and may still be awarded custody. We have a few adopters who’ve yet to reply. When we know for sure, we’ll let you know!
  • We somehow messed up and hope you will forgive us. We blame The Intern. You can email us to double check and to berate us if this is the case.

If you received a denial letter, we hope you understand that we receive a very large number of applications for each SA, and that our decision does NOT mean we are of the opinion that you are unsuitable for SA care! We make every effort to award custody based on SA / SACP (Stuffed Animal Care Provider) compatibility and our decisions are made with only the best intentions in mind.

We strongly encourage you to reapply for a different Rescued Stuffed Animal. We are always taking in new animals whose species and temperaments may be better suited to your lifestyle and personality, and we give preference to repeat applicants whenever possible.

Our newest arrivals will be up shortly, and our next application deadline is March 31!
