The first thing most people notice about me is my coloring. Yes, I’m green. I wasn’t made this way, but I turned this shade soon after. I have a condition called Lime Disease. It’s completely harmless, and it’s not at all contagious. Unbeknownst to my manufacturers, my fur type is incompatible with the dye they used to tint it. This caused my color to fade from brown to the signature lime green for which the condition is named. There is no cure for Lime Disease, but I lead a completely normal life. In fact, I see it as an asset, particularly in March. My last two homes have been with wonderful Irish families!
