Thank you Fred and Remp’s Golf Pool!

We have been pretty dang busy for the last few months as we’ve been assembling The SARF’s Real Life Headquarters (2825 Hancock Dr. #111, Austin, TX 78731) from a whole bunch of recycled materials… so sometimes very awesome things fall through the cracks for awhile. (Note: We are actually just me: Wendy, and at times Leta, my lovely human volunteer, and some wonderful friends who help clean floors and paint things and keep me company.)

Of course I also now have a staff of full-time stuffed employees, but they’re still getting used to their new jobs and surroundings, and honestly, they’re not much better than I am when it comes to keeping up with email.

Because it’s mostly just me running the show, every little big of encouragement helps- and every donation helps, too- especially now that we’ve opened The SARF HQ. Now we have actual bills to pay. And we’re committed to keeping stuffed animal adoptions free.

A few weeks ago we received an email from a very lovely stuffed dog named Fred, along with a monetary donation to our organization through our PayPal donate button. Fred told us he wanted to “help other stuffed animals less fortunate than me.”

Sal

Fred’s living companion runs website/organization called Remp’s Golf Pool. Sal, our Strength and Conditioning Coach, was pretty excited to explore the site, as he is a huge golf fan.

We just wanted to say thank you to Fred and his owner for their generous support of The SARF’s cause! It’s stuffed animals and living companions like them that keep us going!
